Where in Europe does the new “roam like home” rule apply?

If you are a European customer and planning a trip within Europe you need to know where you can actually benefit from the new free roaming rule beginning June 15 2017.

First: your sim-card needs to be registered within the European Union. If you are i.e. a customer from Switzerland travelling to Germany you CANNOT take advantage of this new rule.

Roam like home valid:
Customers from following (EU) countries travelling within following countries:

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Croatia, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom
Norway, Iceland, Lichtenstein (not EU members but roam like home will be introduced shortly after 15 June)

Roam like home NOT valid:
Customers from above (EU) countries travelling within following contries:
Switzerland, Turkey, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, San Marino, Monaco
All countries outside European Union

Customers from Switzerland, Turkey, Serbia, Albania, Kosovo, Macedonia, San Marino, Monaco, all countries outside European Union
